Girls Night!

What is a better way than to take a break from finals than to spend it as a girls night. So blessed by all the friendships that I have made in Troy. Pjs, Sound of Music Live, Sugar Cookie decorating, christmas movies, and hot chocolate was all on the agenda with many laughs! It was a great night of memories and a good reason to take a break from studying. Only one more final left, thank goodness. I am ready to be back on my regular eating and sleeping schedule!

Blessed beyond measure by my home in Troy. Never did I plan it to be this great!

Break....

I sit here needing a break from studying and thought I would just share a few photos. This morning was our "dead day" where we have no classes in order to study for finals. So i had three of my close friends over and made breakfast. Experimented with cookie cutters and made a few christmas pancakes before making our regular and chocolate chip ones of course! Someone thought it would be funny to put soap in the fountain out on the Quad during the night, my only suggestion should have added color to it! Apparently they have to drain all of it and clean it out, Im not sure why because isnt it clean from the soap? Then I did a little redecorating last night and added some lights to my room! Excited for a girls night tomorrow with pjs, decorating christmas cookies, hot chocolate  and watching christmas movies. That fun will be needed for sure! One final is done and have 4 left! Prayer appreciated for them!!

May the Odds be in My Favor!

Well my week at home is over and was a long but short one like always. Never enough time, but this time when I left it wasn't too bad because in exactly a week I will be done with all my finals and around this time or a little later be on the road back to Milton. Thanksgiving was a great week filled with hunting of course, church, family at the house, online shopping, frying turkeys, watching Bama game and working out (with some homework and studying along the way. I am excited but not ready for this week. I start off with my first final as a group presentation tomorrow at 1, then dead day on Wednesday (but i have a class) and then bright and early Thursday at 8 and not anymore till Monday at 11&2! I am excited because some of us girls are doing a Christmas movie night, with hot chocolate, movies, and PJ's, can't get much better than that! I am excited to take a break from studying and just have a time of fellowship and laughter with the girls! Then it will be back to Milton until I got to Chattanooga,Tn  for New Years Conference. I have been blessed with the opportunity to go back and work at the Courthouse while home again, and I am thankful to be able to just have a job. This will be a tiring week, but it will be worth it! Quote of the post: “Christmas doesn't come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more....”

That is why it is so stressful this week and then that week. Just ready to be done with this lonnggggg semester! It has been a very busy last few weeks and this week is another one. Am ready for a break where I don't have to look at school work and not do online classes either! Ready to just be able to relax and enjoy time off!! So be saying some prayers these next 3 weeks, I will be needing them!!

Little bit of this, little bit of that!

Here is to all assortments of pictures from the past few weeks. Our intramural Volleyball team, Spike it Like its Hot, got second place and was very close to winning it all. I have made so many wonderful friends here in Troy it is such a true blessing. I hate to think about graduating and leaving them next year. I have grown very close to a few people so,i will be making trips back to visit for sure! Basketball season is almost underway here and that means I will get to spend time in our beautiful Arena! It was built and opened last November and it is such a beautiful addition to Troy! And here are some pics from some of the hunting cameras we have put up! I hope that everyone is doing well and stay in touch I would love to hear from you!!

Wedding Bells!

Today I was asked by one of my closest friends in Troy to be a Bridesmaid in her wedding next December! I am excited to be able to stand by her side on that day! It is going to be a beautiful wedding!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to everyone! I hope that you haven't ate too much candy yet and got to watch some Halloween movies or participate in some activities! Taylor and I started a pumpkin carving/painting tradition last year and made sure to continue it this year. And we added a pancake dinner to end the night of activities. It was a blast! Then had the Campus Outreach Halloween Party, had been very busy with school that I was so caught up with that and did not get to focus on my costume and was a Starbucks Barista! So the night was fun to see everyone. Troy actually played on Halloween night and got new Blackout uniforms for the game, but they fell short in the game unfortunately. It was a rainy night but a good one and mom and dad made the trip to spend a few short days here in big ole Troy. Next weekend Caleigh and Sarai will be getting their first taste of Troy, so they may not know what to think when they go from Tallahassee to Troy! Three more weeks till fall break/Thanksgiving and that means one important thing: Hunting Season opens!!
